First test run no head (catch up post 6)
Feet are attached. and the computer program and basic xbox control program is built. This version of program attempted to use the Xbox crosshair controls for basic steering. It was not multi threaded so if you played a sound it would lock out the motor controls till the sound was done playing (fixed in later revisions).

Start of the head and motor mounts (catch up posts part3)

Later in June we began working on the motor mounts and T3's head. T3's head started out as sandwiches of 3/4 plywood.
T3's motor are two 300w scooter motors. They are mounted in simple wooden frames and are chain driven.
(later the wheels were put in front of the motors to correct T3's center of gravity better and absorb some of the weight of the head better)

May 2008 cutting out the base part (catch up part1)

Around May of 2008 I started cutting out the base shapes. The first pieces where the side and foot panels.
If you look closely at the picture to the left I began thinking about how I was going to lay out the inside space of the droid from the beginning. There are main areas inside T3 the top chest and the bottom flat panel.
